North Carolina native Jett Edwards, a missionary to Japan in his own right, is a man of many gifts, both musically and otherwise. For the past twenty plus years Jett has built an international career as a music producer, bassist, and R&B, soul, and gospel artist in Tokyo and the US. His music portfolio includes a rich history of great named artists such as The Jackson 5, James Brown, Five Blind Boys of Mississippi, and Leon Ware, etc. As CEO and Founder of Believers Today, a non-profit Music/Arts Outreach Ministry bringing hope and relief to devastated and broken communities throughout Japan, Jett Edwards uses Music Therapy and other healing art expressions to help heal wounded hearts and reach the lost. As the Founder and Executive Director of a thousand-voice Japan Mass Choir, Edwards is passionately involved in introducing Jesus Christ through gospel music to all types of international audiences. “There is a power in gospel music to save, and it breathes in me,” says Jett.
In November of 2016, Jett Edwards received the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award for Lifelong Commitment to National and International Community Service. Beginning March 2017, Jett Edwards, returns to the US to launch his US country-wide “I Believe Tour” featuring music from his latest 2017 music project entitled “Flesh and Bones” and post release of his 2016 Dove Award nominated CD in the category of Best Traditional Gospel Music Album of the year entitled, “Powerful”.
